Understanding Your Emotions

Understanding your emotions is not as hard as you think. Use this chart on a daily basis to rate your emotions to understand how you are feeling.

When you are angry it is important to separate yourself so that you will not lash out on people who do not deserve this emotion from you. Try to think of something funny or something that is positive to change your mood immediately.

When you are frustrated try to think about what you can do instead of what is frustrating you. Strategize about solutions to change your mood and lift your vibration.

When you are anxious or scared remember you are safe and if you are not get yourself somewhere so you can feel this emotion then simply say your mantra until you are calm.

When you experience disappointment or sadness simply remember this is not what you wanted but it is okay. Think about how you wanted it to go and how that would have made you feel. Now think of ways we can get that anyway. This was not the only way and sadness can be lifted by raising your vibration. Listen to some upbeat music, watch some comedy, or simply spend time with animals or children. That is quick to lift your spirit and take you out of your situation if but just for a moment.

When you feel calm, remember this so you can always bring yourself back to this special place.
